About me

My name is Brian L. Voelzke and I’ve been developing websites and creating graphic designs since 2002. Most of my website design work was for personal use until 2005 when I enrolled at Moraine Park Technical College (MPTC) and earned a degree in Web Development.

After completing that degree in 2007 it was decided to continue my education by earning a degree in graphic design. December of 2010 I earned an Associates degree in Graphic Communications from MPTC. During my time at MPTC I took on all types of graphic and website design jobs. However, being elected President of the Graphics Club was my favorite job.

My club presidency term was during fall 2009 and winter/spring 2010 school year. As the president of the Graphics Club I was in charge of running meetings, working with club members and school administration, also setting up club related events. One of the largest events I had the honor of coordinating was a trip to the Graph Expo in Chicago.

I've worked on hundred dollar projects and multimillion-dollar projects. Every project is different and is just as important no matter the size or cost.

Hobbies

There are two things that I love to do with my free time. One is car audio and the other is playing video games. Do to the fact that car audio tends to take a lot of time and money, I have to stick with video games. I’ve been into gaming since the original Nintendo was released in the 80’s. I currently own a PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

I've been involved with a number of open and closed beta's for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC games over the last few years. Open beta testing is where everyone and anyone can get involved. Closed beta testing is where the developer invites gamers to test and provided feedback during a games development. Developers use a process to choose select gamers to beta tests in closed environments.
