about
Brian L. Voelzke
Graphic and Website Designer
Brian started Voelzke.net as an online portfolio. This portfolio was a requirement to graduate from the Information Technology - Web Developer program at Moraine Parke Technical College (MPTC). He started his work in the web development field spring/summer of 2002 when developing a personal website project that was related to lowrider cars and trucks.
Using Microsoft’s FrontPage® 2000, Brian taught himself how to develop websites. He had no real understanding of HTML at that time as he was using a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) program. He developed graphics using Adobe® Photoshop® 5.5, and Microsoft’s Draw 2.0.
Summer of 2004 he started to do freelance website work. After eight months of freelance work he wanted to provide more services. Summer of 2005 he started attending Moraine Park Technical College. By December 2007, he had completed the Web Developer program and earned a Technical Diploma.
He is continuing his education at Moraine Park Technical College working toward an Associates Degree in the Graphic Communications Electronics Prepress program. Graphic design and Website design go hand in hand in todays world of advanced technology.
